The August tidy-up

Once a month we sweep the site: broken pixels, awkward wording, buttons that sat one shade too dark. August's sweep touched nearly every page in tiny, invisible ways.

None of it is newsworthy on its own, which is exactly why we bundle it into one post.

We measure the health of the site in quiet numbers: pages that load quickly, rounds that finish without a hiccup, and the occasional kind note through the contact form. By those measures, things are in good shape — and we would rather grow slowly than wobble.
